After a protracted pregnancy spanning five years, Mrs. Esther Joseph Itiaba, an Akwa Ibom based gospel music artiste has put to birth a bouncing baby girl.

Relaying the information to our correspondent, the artiste’s husband, Mr. Joe Itiaba, said his family never lost faith in God during their travails.

He said medical and orthodox knowledge failed to properly manage the situation.

“We used to go for scan regularly. Sometimes the results will show that there is no foetus. The tests showed conflicting results.

We never lost hope because God always does his things at the appointed time”, he noted.

Itiaba who is the National Vice Chairman of the Accord Party (AP) further divulged that the delivery took place a day after he, alongside members of his party, endorsed Governor Udom Emmanuel for a second term in office.

“I declared support for the governor’s second term, the following day, my wife miraculously gave birth. The delivery is divine. Don’t forget that the governor is operating with a divine mandate, so I tapped into the divine mandate.”

Mr. Itiaba who also doubles as the state chairman of the party stated that his family will soon organize a mega thanksgiving to God

He congratulated Governor Emmanuel on his victory, and called on aggrieved persons to join hands with the present administration because “the governor is worth supporting.”

On the litigation against the governor at the elections petitions tribunal, Itiaba described it as “a needless adventure”, saying the governor won by merit.

The couple is now blessed with 3 children -two male, one female.
